Statistics

Cookies! Delicious! And these are even completely vegan ;-). No all kidding aside, cookies are there to make your experience on Vegan Travel Life better. Cookies are small (temporary) text files for your laptop or mobile. The handy thing about this is that you don’t have to load all the photos all the time, for example, which makes the site faster. And so you get to your recipe faster. So for this we use cookies.

We measure cookies using third-party software. So this is how we view and measure what are interesting parts for you as a visitor. For example, we need the number of
pageviews
and which pages are viewed.

From this collected information we create statistics. These statistics give us insight into how often our web page is visited, where exactly visitors spend the most time, and so on.

These statistics enable us to make the website more user-friendly. Of course, we ensure that statistics and other reports cannot be traced back to individuals.

What do we use:

Google Analytics cookie

We use this cookie for:

  • Optimizing the website
  • Tracking the number of visitors to our web pages
  • Tracking the amount of time each visitor spends on our web pages
  • Assessing which parts of our site need extra attention and adjustments

Cookies are stored on your computer . You can delete them at any time. How? Click on any of the browsers below to go directly to your browser’s manual.

The consequence, however, is that after deleting cookies, some websites will require you to reset your preferences or log in again.

Don’t want websites placing cookies on your laptop or computer at all? Then adjust your browser settings to alert you when a cookie is set. Note that you must adjust the settings separately for each browser and laptop or computer you use.

Don’t want cookies anymore? Please realize then that we can no longer guarantee that our website will work perfectly well. In fact, some site features may be lost or even you may not be able to see certain websites at all.

Social media cookies

The recipes, travelogues and videos you view on our website can be shared via social media using buttons. Very nice to quickly get your best friends to share that one recipe. Or from that travelogue to faraway gistan. We use cookies from social media parties for this purpose. They recognize you this way, so you can easily share a recipe or travelogue.

How the social media parties collect their data is best read in their own statements. Below you will see links to all social media platforms. Nothing is as changeable as the Internet, so please note that these statements may change periodically. Unfortunately, this is beyond our control.

Other

Due to the way the Internet and websites work, we may not always have insight into the cookies placed by third parties through our website. This is particularly the case if our web pages contain so-called embedded elements; these are texts, documents, images or videos that are stored at another party, but are displayed on, in or through our website.
